Dude, tell me what a cold is?
"A cold is…. Not fun for you and I do not like colds because when I get a cold, a matter of fact, I blew it to everyone to stop getting a cold. That means it’s a joke and it’s funny. Then a crabby mommy comes ggggrrr. "
Why do you blow you colds to other people?
"Because I do not like colds. I like to be the same and mellow like always."
So do you think, if you blow your cold away to someone else, it leaves you and goes away?
"Yes!"
Does that really happen?
"Yes."
So do you think it’s nice to share your cold germs with other people?
"Yes."
Why?
"Because I don’t like it and it goes away."
But what if you make other people sick?
"Ummm. Well, they have to deal."
What if they are mad at you?
"HHHmmmm, I’ll plug my ears."
So it’s always better to blow your cold away, so you get better faster?
"Yes."
Anything else you want to say about cold and being sick.
"That part of your body gets all snot all the way down there (motioning from nose to chest)."
Isn’t that gross?
"It is. And now mommy has it."
I am not happy about that.
"It’s ok… just deal. Step one: Get over it, Step Two: Act like a big girl. Step three: talk about it later."
